What is Ethernet over Copper and who needs it
Ethernet over Copper: is a two layer technology that is easy to install, upgrade and maintain. Customers can use Ethernet to carry their own applications or National ComTel voice and data solutions. Speeds range from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps on an Ethernet WAN connection and can be used for private cloud networks including MPLS applications. The only drawback is that the customer must be located fairly close to the Ethernet mainframe in order to utilize this service.
Who would use this? : Customers looking to receive higher bandwidth for data packet transmissions at a lower cost than fiber or other Internet. One client may need 6Mbps, and Ethernet would be a good solution at the 10 Mbps level. Another client may only need 4.5 Mbps or less and a more economical solution would be a bonded or two T-1s.
Why use National ComTel? : NCT is the customer advocate and our purpose is to provide the customer with only the services that they want or need. We are here to educate, recommend and provide. We will pre-qualify your business service location for this service or recommend another that will be in your best interest.
