VoIP Customers,
We wanted to remind everyone about a really useful feature that’s available for free in your National ComTel Voice Pilot account. It’s called “Call Forward Not Reachable.” Basically, if your phone is unreachable for any reason, incoming calls will automatically be forwarded to a number you designate.
This service is great to automatically route inbound calls in case of an Internet outage or other network related outages. For instance, if your Comcast connection is down, all inbound phone calls could get routed to your cell phone.
This service is only available to customers who subscribe to our Voice Pilot PBX service. In other words, if you have your own in-house phone system, we can’t offer you this service.
For those of you who do subscribe to our Voice Pilot Hosted PBX service, you can set up the “Call Forward Not Reachable” service in your web control panel. It’s under the “Incoming Calls” section.
If you would like assistance setting it up, just send an e-mail to NCNIService@NationalComTel.com or call us at 800-987-0100 and we’ll be glad to assist.
If you currently don’t have that service available to you, but you’d like to upgrade your account to have access to it and similar features, just let us know.
