Whether you are networking or working with a customer, it is very important to follow up.
One or two days after meeting someone for the first time, follow up with a brief email, note or even try a phone call. This is an opportunity to build the relationship by bringing a relevant topic that you previously discussed or making a comment on an interesting topic.
National ComTel has a “Follow Up” policy that we do our best to follow. Anytime a customers calls with a general question, an issue. We call them back two days later to make sure that their question has been properly responded to, if there was a service issue, we also call back 10 days after that, just to provide the best support possible and to let them know that we are still monitoing their account.
