The other day I was asked why did I do this, why did I take over a communications company.
There was a point when the company was going to be sold which meant that all the employees would have probably been let go by the new owner and all the customers would have been moved to big provider. At that time I had the financial means, some experience and a small staff to save the employees jobs and offer the customers a continuing way to conduct their business without having to be under the uncaring bureaucratic monster provider who would never treat them as a valued individual.
I wanted to give our current and future customers an outstanding option for their communications needs, with up to date technologies and any service they needed to run their business while offering them an enjoyable experience when working with our staff. I have mortgaged my home, taken out business loans so that others would have a good place to work and a new type of company would arise. Did I do it to get rich, heck no. Telecommunications is not my passion, however it is a service by which we can have a positive effect on those involved. I felt that this was an opportunity with God’s help to do something great for all involved.
It is and has been my vision that National ComTel would be a financial and opportunistic tool for the employees to have a stress free job, take vacations, be with their families and do some good in their neighborhood and the world.
That’s my story…
